Family Therapy

Family therapy is a therapeutic approach that views the family as an interconnected system where each member’s emotions and behaviours affect the whole group. It provides a safe space to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen bonds by exploring family dynamics and roles. Family members gain insight into their relationships, learn to balance independence with emotional connection, creating a healthier and more supportive family environment.

Traditional Family Therapy

Dyadic parent-child psychotherapy is a family therapy for young children who are not yet able to communicate verbally. Through child-led play, the child, parent, and therapist observe and interpret thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a safe, reflective space. This approach fosters emotional resilience, addresses behavioural or emotional challenges collaboratively, and strengthens the parent-child bond.
